Hi everyone, this afternoon your children will be coming home with a list of spelling words. The list is the same as the spelling assessment. I have highlighted the first ten words that the children got wrong in the test. These are their words to learn for the next week. On Friday the children will buddy test each other with their learning buddies. For every word they get correct they will get a new one to learn for next week. Spellingcity will be set up for essential list four, which is the list that students should know by the end of year 4. If the sheets can be returned on Friday this means I can highlight their new words. It may be an idea to keep them folded in their green reading book so that they do not get lost! Good luck and try and encourage them as much as you can to learn their words.
*Also today, homework maths sheets will be coming home too, not compulsary, however I would love them to be completed for Friday.
