Here are some of our lovely children during our ukulele lessons. We learnt lots of new skills together and finished up being able to play a range of songs. The children's favourite was definitely Spongebob Square pants which we preformed at assembly.

Our inquiry in term 2 was "Native to New Zealand" we spent a lot of time learning about things that are unique and with the help of some lovely parents we made hokey pokey and pavlova! What a wonderful day this was. We used this experience to guide our writing - writing instructions. It was great to have something contextual to write about. The children seriously loved the pav! It was a brilliant day and experience.

Our class heart, this is designed to congratulate children on positive behaviour, children are rewarded if their name is in the heart and then they also get a tick. This means they get to select a prize from the prize bag!
